LOCATION: Concord, Ontario
The York Region Soccer Association (YRSA) was formed in 1982 and is a registered not-for-profit Ontario corporation overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. The association operates with paid staff to provide programs and services for over 50,000 registrants in the Region of York. Affiliated with Ontario Soccer, the YRSA is the third largest of 21 district associations that participate in the governance of soccer in Ontario. With representation on the Board of Directors of the OSA, the YRSA assists in the development of policy and procedures, and provides the delivery of programs, adult and youth leagues, services and governance to its members. The membership consists of 15 youth clubs with defined boundaries, 4 adult-only clubs and associate members.
The General Administrator will assist and provide general support to the Executive Director in the day-to-day operations of the Association. The chosen candidate will work full-time hours but must be available to work evenings and weekends as required.
The duties of the Administrator will include but are not limited to:
Discipline case work
Coach and Referee education administration
League operations support
General administrative support
University degree or College diploma in Sports Management
At least two years of experience working in a not-for-profit sports environment
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office applications
Experience with soccer specific referee assigning and registration software
Ability to work in a demanding, results-based organization
Salary: Commensurate with experience
